2004 A.G.M. and Conference

Your invitation to attend the 2004 Talking Newspaper Association of the United Kingdom A.G.M. and Conference to be held in Southport, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September 2004.

Plans are well underway for the above AGM and Conference which this year is being held in sunny Southport.

Southport is known as “The Jewel on England’s North West Coast”. It also holds the title of “England’s Golfing Capital”.

The venue is the Prince of Wales Hotel, said to be Southport’s most famous Hotel and is set amidst the tree lined main boulevard of Lord Street. The hotel offers the highest standards of accommodation, cuisine and service and the en-suite bedrooms are tastefully designed to reflect the Victorian heritage.

As your new conference organiser searching through past information, it was clear that many delegates require hotel accommodation for both the Friday and Saturday evening. Subsequently, I have agreed a package that will begin on Friday with Dinner, Bed and Breakfast and finishing on Sunday after a Carvery Lunch.

Conference is your opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with old and new contemporaries.

Further details of costs and workshops will be available shortly.

Meanwhile, an early indication of interest in attending would be extremely helpful in allowing me to ascertain how many rooms to reserve.

Looking forward to meeting you all
