The National Service combined with Wandsworth Talking Newspaper
to put on a
display at Wandsworth Mall, Southside. Many people asked about both services
and
also wanted to know how they could get involved on a voluntary basis.
The response from the general public was very positive both in terms of enquiry
as well as funds.
In the photographs you can see Gilly Grimshaw from the National Recording
Service and Jane Haskins and some of her volunteers from Wandsworth TN.
