Leave a Legacy and Make a Difference National Talking Newspapers and Magazines receives vital income each year from donations in Wills. This wonderful generosity greatly helps towards providing our unique service for blind and partially sighted people. Your gift really can make a difference. To operate our services we need to raise nearly £1 million in running costs each year. Whilst half of this amount is funded by subscriptions, the rest has to be provided by individual supporters, charitable trusts and legacies. We receive no government assistance. Legacy income is vital for our future. It’s one of the best ways that our supporters can ensure the continuing long-term growth and the development of our services. Here’s how legacies can help: * £500 pays for the annual recording of a monthly magazine * £2500 allows us to make all our audio publications available via web download for a year * £5000 pays for 200 people to receive the newspaper or magazine of their choice on tape for a year * £10,000 pays the annual cost of postal wallets needed to send tapes to our listeners each year Leaving a bequest to charity is also likely to reduce inheritance tax liability and making a Will ensures that your wishes are carried out and that your family and loved ones are not faced with the worry of a complicated financial and legal situation after your death. If you are thinking of leaving a legacy or would like to find out more about making a Will, please contact our legacy advisor on 01435 866 102 or email will@tnauk.org.uk or write to us at: National Talking Newspapers and Magazines National Recording Centre Browning Road Heathfield East Sussex TN21 8DB
