Teeing Off For Charity A charity golf classic is being held in May this year in aid of two good causes - National Talking Newspapers and Magazines and St Wilfrid's Hospice The event, organised by Newman Business Solutions Ltd - a local family-run company in Crowborough specialising in office technology - will take place on Friday 29th May at Willingdon Golf Club, Eastbourne, East Sussex. Companies and businesses are invited to enter teams of four to play an 18-hole Stableford competition. The entry fee is £55 and will include breakfast on arrival as well as an evening meal and prizes. Maximum handicaps include 28 for men and 36 for ladies. "This is our inaugural Charity Golf Classic and we hope to raise plenty of money for two very worthwhile causes," said Tom Foreman, Account Manager, Newman Business Solutions Ltd. "Golfers of all abilities face a stiff but fair challenge at Willingdon, and we are looking forward to a good turnout and a great day's golf." National Talking Newspapers and Magazines is a national charity, based in Heathfield, providing more than 200 newspapers and magazines for visually impaired and print disabled people in variety of accessible formats. This provides a lifeline for 7,000 people by offering the same access to newspapers and magazines enjoyed by sighted people. St Wilfrid's Hospice is a local charity providing skilled and compassionate care for people over 18 with life-limiting illnesses in Eastbourne, Polegate, Pevensey, Seaford, Hailsham, Heathfield, Uckfield and everywhere in between.
